  •  AC-hardwired with battery backup - Powered by home's electricity in order to provide reliable detection. 2-AA batteries provide smoke detector-carbon monoxide detector combo backup power during short-term power outages
  • Photoelectric smoke sensor - May detect visable fire particles associated with slow smoldering fires sooner than an ionization sensor
  • Electrochemical CO sensor - Provides accurate and continual CO protection during the products life, remains stable during temperature and humidity changes and resists reactions to household gases that may cause false readings or reduce sensitivity
  • One - Touch Button - Unique cat-eye button on the face of the detector performs the following functions:
    • Activates the Hush feature to temporarily silence nuisance alarms 
    • Tests the units eletronics and verifies proper operation
    • Resets the carbon monoxide smoke detector combo during a CO alarm 
    • Silences a low battery chirp for up to 24 hours. Silences the end of life chirp for up to 24 hours
